The End of LOST

Spoiler alert, do not read if you have not seen the end.

************************************************** *******************

The first impression given is that they were all dead, and from there you can imagine it is all a dream jack-etc. That explanation to me is completely superficial and does not match anything. It is the simplest interpretation of the words of the Jack's father. It is true that they are dead, but not what you think. I will try to explain as best I can.

THE ALTERNATIVE REALITIES

The end of Lost begins on the first episode of last season, with the alternate reality. avoid just after "the incident" In the past, exploding the bomb. Juliet tells James that have been successful, and indeed, to the bomb created a new branch on the island does not exist, and all who were aboard the plane did not suffer any accident. But the fork in the already ongoing, as there is another fork in the bomb did not explode, the incident occurred and caused the plane crash. From this it emerged that there are two turning points, which forks multiple realities, that of the incident, and the crash of Flight 815. What is achieved with Faraday create that perfect reality in which all are alive, yet something is missing, which lived on the island to be truly happy, there comes Desmond, the constant.

THE CONSTANT

One of the best episodes of Lost, "Constant" helps explain why everyone will remember and why Desmond is that makes this possible. In Chapter Desmond manages to find the path of their consciousness to a reality thanks to Penny sun, his constante.Desmont the only one who can remember things from his parallel lives. We saw this in a chapter where he worked for Widmore and Penny was happy with, but still something was missing. In all its "iterations" seeking the perfect reality. I never got the whole world was happy, that all come out as it should be, but with the alternate reality that is created by Faraday succeeds. So has that happy face throughout the season, as if drugged. He had finally achieved what he has been looking at all their lives, a happy ending for everyone. To achieve this he had to get everyone to find their constant, that would make back the awareness of another reality in which the island was, and found happiness (a time at least).

THE JACK'S FATHER

The father's words have more than one misplaced. "They're all dead? Sure! In the reality series has just passed all dead. As her father says, "Some earlier, some later." That is, some die in the first season as the brother of Shannon, Jack dies in the last chapter, while Hugo and Ben are on the island, and probably end up dying one day, like the others. We all have to die someday. But in this reality are very much alive. And how can the father be alive? In my opinion, that fact did not die, but Desmond needed Jack thought his father was dead, so that the turning point of the 815 accident reproduce as closely as possible, but no accident, because if they had not crossed Locke, had not healed, it would not have met his sister, etc.. It would not be that happy ending he was looking Desmond. And, of course, also need Jack's father still alive, and so traveled to Australia, although the other was not really in the air.

THE ISLAND

This is the part that I have not yet clear. From what I can come to understand, the island is a turning point of all realities. They all converge on it and leave it all. The light would become the energy that keeps these realities together and allows the loops. Surely you know better than paper in the series as time passes.

So far all I can remember. On this basis you find explanation to almost every question.

Greetings.
